Features

Hitachi presents the Takumi Series - a revolutionary new design of indoor unit, that gives you 27% more vertical space for your ceiling designs. Now, you can install the indoor unit with specially designed mountings directly on to the ceiling, that helps in reducing the height, instead of installing them with hangers. Now get more ceiling heights for your designs.

The HI-FI Deluxe model of the Takumi series is fitted with a Drain Pump, which helps in removing condensate water quickly and avoids spilling it over the false ceiling. As a result, the false ceiling remains clean and the growth of fungus is restricted.

The Drain Pump also eliminates U-trap gradient of the drain pipe, which reduces the false ceiling height. In addition to the above benefits, the condensate water doesn't have to be manually disposed whenever IDUs are installed in the basement.

The Drain Pipe has an in built Non-Return Valve, which restricts the drain back of water, and also has a float switch which ensures safety in case the drain pipe is choked by shutting the compressor which prevents water from falling over the ceiling.

The Takumi series Hi-Fi Deluxe model is factory supplied with a UV Lamp, mounting frame and a PCB for ventilation provision. With the selection and continuous operation of germicidal UV lamp, bacteria can be killed in an hours time. This feature provides healthy indoor air quality and also enhances the efficiency of the unit by reducing frequent choking of the cooling coil due to no bacteria growth. Also, there is a key in the controller that activates motorized fresh air damper to maintain low levels of CO₂, thus providing a complete healthy environment.

In the event of power failure, each compressor in Takumi Machines start one after another, unlike the machines of competition, where almost all compressors start together and thus produce high startup load on the DG set.

The outdoor unit of the Takumi Series now comes with a convertible design to suit your requirements. The same outdoor unit can be installed either for side discharge or top discharge, according to your convenience and space available.

A unique option that you get with Central Station in the Takumi series of Ductable Air-Conditoners is the Control and monitoring of multiple ducted splits (up to a max. of 16) with a single Central Station controller. It can be placed anywhere in the air conditioned area.
